Jingning apples are famous for their bright color, large shape, smooth fruit surface, fine juicy, moderate sweetness and sourness, crisp and sweet taste, strong hardness, long shelf life, extremely resistant to storage and long-distance transportation. Jingning's unique regional, climatic and soil characteristics are very conducive to apple production, and have been rated as "the best eugenic apple on the Loess Plateau" by the Ministry of Agriculture
